Welcome!

Thank you for visiting my website and welcome to my medical practice.  I
am a Board Certified medical doctor specializing in Obstetrics and
Gynecology.  My office hours are Mondays through Fridays from 8:30am
until 4:30pm.  I offer same day appointments and in office ultrasound.  I am
conveniently located near Presbyterian Hospital of Plano and offer
curbside parking to the front door of my office.

We Are Expanding !!!

I'm excited to announce Christina J. Powell, M.D. will join our office this
August.  Dr. Powell earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University
Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas.  Later this summer she will
complete her Residency Training Program at The University of Texas
Southwestern Medical Center's Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at
Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas.  Join me in welcoming Dr. Powell to
our office.

But that is not all.  Soon, we will change our office name to "Willow Bend
OB/GYN."  Dr. Powell and I look forward to seeing you in our office!

What's In The News?

Heavy periods are not something you have to live with.  There are a
number of effective treatment options available including NovaSure.

An intrauterine device (IUD) is a small, T-shaped device made of flexible
plastic and inserted into the uterus to prevent pregnancy.  This placement
can be done during an office visit.  There are two brands of IUD available
in the United States; ParaGard and Mirena.

Cord blood is blood remaining in your child's umbilical cord following birth.
 Cord blood contains stem cells which can be used in the treatment of
immune system related genetic diseases, cancers, and blood disorders.  
Cord Blood Registry, StemCyte and ViaCord are three cord blood banking
facilities.
